A student dashboard to start new assigned lessons, continue current lessons, learn vocabulary words, and review reference materials.
Global Dictionary
The global dictionary contains all learned vocabulary words and is accessed in the header. Over 80% of our users were Spanish-speaking students, so we decided to start with Spanish translations first. English is at the top (primary language) since our goal is to teach Spanish-native students the English language. Both words and definitions are translated, and have audio and a visual resources associated.
Math Lessons
Each math lesson has a story and visuals regarding a specific math topic. The student will navigate through, has access to audio assistance, and engaging visuals. Vocabulary words are highlighted in orange, and when clicked, will open the dictionary with the definition and translation.
Teacher Dashboard
Educators have their own portal to configure and assign lessons (primers), allow translation support, view student results, and manage student access.
